Cancelation Guidelines and Policies

All clients are solely responsible for reading and following our guidelines so everyone can have an enjoyable practice while we maintain and sustain our community studio. By attending class, you are agreeing to all our guidelines and policies. Updated as of 8/2023.


All sales are final

It takes a lot to run a studio and provide quality offerings to our clients.

We try and offer you the best services possible. In order to do that, please be sure that you're booking the correct service and can attend classes, workshops, and be able to use the membership or services in the specified time allotted. We do not offer refunds of classes, memberships or workshops purchased.  Its your responsibility to read our guidelines before purchasing. Non use of services are not grounds for a refund. In some instances, per our discretion we can apply a credit to your account. 


Membership autopay Cancelation Policy

It's easy to cancel!

And Yoga Studios does not have long-term membership contracts. To offer the best monthly pricing, there is a short 3-month agreement with a low membership cancelation fee if membership is canceled within the first 3 months of service. However, the membership can be canceled within the 1st month of service, 10 days before the membership billing date, without incurring the membership cancelation fee.

Members must send a membership cancelation request email 10 business days (M-F) before the membership billing cycle date to ensure the next autopay in the billing cycle won’t be processed.

A membership cancelation email sent to the correct email address above is proof of your membership cancelation request. We will confirm the request via email once membership cancelation is processed. If a membership cancelation request email is sent within 10 business days of the membership auto-billing date, the next billing cycle will process as usual, and the following autopay will be canceled. You will receive a confirmation email on the last day the account is active to book classes, autopay payments, membership cancellation fees, or information once the request has been processed.

If a confirmation email has not been received within five business days, please call the General Manager on the Studio Hotline at 917-498-9300. If there is no answer, send a text message with your name and email address along with the date of the email cancelation request. Do not leave a voicemail. It is the client’s responsibility to send a Membership Cancelation request via email and to follow-up.

Verbal conversations, text messages, phone calls, carrier pigeons, smoke signals, or lucid dreams are not acceptable forms of membership cancelation.

  • If a membership cancellation request was received after the card on file has been charged, there are no refunds.


Membership Cancelation Fee - $100

There is a Membership Cancelation Fee if the membership autopay is canceled within the first 3 months of continuous service. The fee is waived after three months of service or within the first month of billing.

The membership cancelation fee is processed at the time of the cancelation request and is separate from the monthly autopay payment. Once a membership cancelation request is received via email, the membership will canceled per the Membership Autopay Cancelation Guidelines. Book and attend all classes before the end of the billing cycle. 

  • Cancelation Fee Waived - Within the first month of service, if a cancelation request email is sent 10 business days before the second month’s billing cycle.

  • Cancelation Fee Waived - After the 3rd month of continuous membership billing cycles. Continuous billing means no membership holds or suspensions within the 3-month time period.

  • Cancelation Fee Waived - For any Hardship Membership, Yoga Dub, or Special Membership offers if stated in writing by And Yoga Studios Administration.



CLASS CANCELLATION policy

Any booked class by members not attended has to be canceled within 12-hours of the class start time to avoid penalty. If members cancel a booked class within 12-hours of the class start time, that is considered a late cancellation. If a member does not show up for a booked class, it's considered an Absent No Show.

Absent No Show - $25

Sometimes an unexpected absence may occur, but please understand that our class cancelation policy is aimed to be a preventative measure rather than a penalty. As a boutique studio that has survived a pandemic offering small class sizes, our demand for class spots is high. Absent No-Shows and Late Cancels are inconsiderate to our teachers and members, limit others from participating in classes, and are disruptive to our overall Yoga Community and the sustainability of our studio.

Note: There is no graces occurrences or waiving Absent No-Show or Late Cancelation Fees.

If you are running late or cannot attend class because of an emergency, please email, call or text us. Class cancellations can be submitted via your online account, the Mindbody app, via email, or by texting;

If there are unexpected charges on your account, most likely these are class cancelation fees assessed. The fees will not show up on your account on the same day of the occurrence or cancellation. Check your VISIT HISTORY here before calling us.

"Abhaya" 

A Sanskrit word meaning fearlessness as a spiritual virtue, aspiring to transcend worldly desires, hindrances, or obstacles by harnessing strength.

Basically, if you book a class -show up and attend and be on time. Be mindful of our class cancellation policies, and you'll never see charges on your account. Our guidelines are strict, and it's every student's responsibility to read and understand them before participating in our studio. class cancelations for a Single Class Drop-In or donation based.

If you purchased a Single Class Drop-In, or donate to a Community Class and Late Cancel or Absent No-Show this will not result in any additional charges but will result in the forfeiture of the booked class. A missed class cannot be transferred or used for another date. No Exceptions.


HOW TO CANCEL ONLINE STUDIO MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION

  • Log into your online studio account

  • Click '“My Account” in the upper right-hand corner

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page

  • Go to “ACTIVE PURCHASES”

  • Click on “OPTIONS” positioned on the far right, to access the drop-down menu

membership auto pay Suspensions or hold

Your membership can be placed on hold for any reason up for a minimum of a few days to a maximum of 3 months.  Perfect if you need to take a break or go on holiday! While on hold the monthly billing cycle is frozen and will not process. After the hold ends the membership resumes and the billing date changes.

  • All membership suspension must be submitted via email 5 business days before your monthly billing cycle date.

  • Membership holds need a start and end date. We cannot set open-ended membership holds.


All memberships AUTO RENEW

All memberships will auto renew unless the client sends an email to cancel.  It is the client's responsibility to stop the automatic payment before the date that their monthly membership renews.

  • Once the membership auto renews, the same terms and conditions apply that are in the original agreement and set forth in these current guidelines/cancellations policy on this page.


Workshops

All workshop sales are final. Arrive early to claim your spot, late admittance (5 mins after start time) is not allowed. Workshop payments can be transferred to other workshops, classes, or memberships in some circumstances. Please be sure that you can attend before purchasing any workshop classes.  If workshops are rescheduled, a credit will be given for a later date, but no refunds.


waitlist 

There are no waitlists for classes. Sign up early and often. If you don’t see a book button next to the class, the class may be full, give us a call sometimes we can get members into class. We Love our Members!


Refunds/transfers

  • There are no refunds on any Trial Class, Drop-Ins, or Memberships.

  • There are no transfers on any Trial Class, Drop-Ins, or Memberships.


Class Credit Rollovers

  • Yoga Membership classes do not roll over. Members receive the same number of classes each billing cycle. It is up to the Member to use the classes in the monthly billing cycle time frame allotted.


Changes

And Yoga Studios may make changes to the services and pricing offered on or through our Site or Mobile Applications at any time. And Yoga Studios can change, update, or add or remove provisions of these terms at any time by posting the updated terms on this site’s page. If you have created an account with us, you will be required to agree to the our terms the first time you log in to your account. We will post periodic updates and its’s the client responsibility to read any updates by visiting the guidelines/cancellation page. By using this our site or the Mindbody Application after And Yoga Studios has updated their terms, you are agreeing to all the updated terms; if you do not agree with any of the updated terms, you must stop using our site and Mindbody Applications in reference to our studios.


Using the Site and the Services on the Site.

You need not register with the And Yoga Studios to simply visit and view the site. However, in order to access certain password-restricted areas of the site and to use certain services offered on and through the site and Mobile Applications, you must register with And Yoga Studios for an account.

If you desire to register for an account, you must submit your name; email address; preferred password, and other information requested on the account registration page. Once you have submitted your account registration information, the And Yoga Studios administrator shall have the right to approve or reject your account, in the And Yoga Studios administrator’s sole discretion. If approved, you will be permitted to log into your account with the password that you selected during account registration. And Yoga Studios may also provide you with the ability to register for an account on our site using your existing account and log-in credentials on Third-Party Sites such as Mindbody.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and/or any Third-Party Site password that you use to log in to the Site or Mobile Applications (collectively, "Passwords"), and you are responsible for all activities that occur using your Passwords. You agree not to share your Passwords, let others access or use your Passwords, or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your Passwords. You agree to notify And Yoga Studios, if any of your Passwords are lost or stolen, if you are aware of any unauthorized use of your Passwords, or if you know of any other breach of security in relation to the Site or Mobile Applications.


Purchases

You may be permitted to use the Mobile Applications to order and/or pay for services. To do so, you must have created an account with us and you must supply certain additional information relevant to your transaction, including, without limitation, your credit or debit card number, the expiration date of your credit or debit card, the name on your credit or debit card, and/or your billing address. Once you have submitted your payment information, we (or our third-party payment processor) will authorize the payment and send you a confirmation email. You agree to pay any fees applicable to your use of the Site and/or Mobile Application, including but not limited to fees and charges applicable to your purchases. We may suspend or terminate your account and/or access to the Site if your offered payment method (e.g., credit card or debit card) cannot be processed. By providing a payment method, you expressly authorize us and/or our third-party payment processor to charge the applicable fees on said payment method as well as taxes and other charges incurred thereto, all of which depend on the services you utilize and the Products you purchase.

You agree that we (or our third-party payment processors) may charge any unpaid amounts to your provided payment method and/or send you a bill for such unpaid fees.
